Insert your line of code

Lets put some code into each page you want to track. It needs to be at the very, very top of your page, even before the '<html>'.

The code looks like this:

<? // Visitor Stats 2 include("visitor_stats/visitor_stats.php"); ?>

Cut and paste this into your pages.

Pages in subdirectories

If your pages are in subdirectories of the root directory, you will need to include some extra code.

The code looks like this:

<? // Visitor Stats 2 $num_directories="../"; include($num_directories . "visitor_stats/visitor_stats.php"); ?>

Cut and paste this into your pages.

Get the idea? That's it. You're up and running!

All you need to do now is upload your pages and test it out.

If you want to try some of the more advanced features, such as inserting Orders, Real Page Names, Visitor Names etc, please read the 'visitor_stats/includes/visitor_custom.inc.php' file.

Tracking visitors from a mailout / Google Adwords

Giving customers a name to remember them by (E.g. 'Customer 54')
